These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Billrest Health, Billrest General, and any associated services (collectively referred to as “Billrest” or “the Software”), owned and operated by Billrest Technologies (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By using, subscribing to, or accessing Billrest, you (“User,” “Client,” or “Customer”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

1. Service Overview

Billrest provides web-based billing, management, and operational software solutions for small businesses, clinics, and hospitals.
Features include but are not limited to invoicing, appointment management, patient records, stock/inventory tracking, and analytics reporting.

We may update, enhance, or modify features periodically to improve functionality or user experience.

2. Account Registration & Access

  • Users must provide accurate business and contact information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.
  • Sharing or selling account access to unauthorized parties is strictly prohibited.
  • If you suspect any unauthorized access, you must notify Billrest Support immediately.

3. Use of Services

By using Billrest, you agree to:

  • Use the software solely for lawful business purposes.
  • Not attempt to copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, or modify the software.
  • Not use Billrest for fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activities.
  • Ensure that your stored or processed data complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Billrest reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in misuse, suspicious activity, or policy violations without prior notice.

4. Payments, Renewals & Refunds

  • All payments for Billrest subscriptions must be made in advance via approved payment methods.
  • Subscriptions are activated instantly after payment confirmation.
  • Plans do not auto-renew; users must renew manually before expiry.
  • Payments are non-refundable under all circumstances except verified duplicate or failed transactions.

All payment-related details, exceptions, and refund rules are governed by our Payment & Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

5. Invoicing & Taxes

  • Billrest issues official invoices for all verified payments.
  • Invoices contain details such as business name, payment reference, plan, and applicable taxes.
  • Prices displayed on our website or communications are inclusive of taxes, unless otherwise stated.

6. Data Ownership & Security

  • All data entered or uploaded into Billrest (including patient records, invoices, inventory, etc.) remains the exclusive property of the user.
  • Billrest only processes and stores data to operate and improve its services.
  • We implement secure hosting, encrypted data transfer (HTTPS), and regular backups to protect user information.
  • Users can export their data in Excel format directly from within the platform.
  • For security and privacy reasons, Billrest does not process manual export or data copy requests outside the software.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Inactive or expired accounts may retain stored data for up to 90 days post-expiry.
  • After the retention period, Billrest may permanently delete the data without notice.
  • Users are responsible for exporting their data before plan expiry or deletion.

8. Service Availability & Maintenance

  • Billrest aims for 99.99% uptime, but occasional downtime may occur due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.
  • Scheduled maintenance or updates will be communicated where feasible.
  • We are not liable for interruptions caused by third-party service providers, network failures, or force majeure events.

9. Support

  • Billrest provides support through WhatsApp, email, or in-app ticket systems during regular business hours (Mon–Sat, 10 AM – 7 PM IST).
  • Support may include troubleshooting, product guidance, or issue resolution.
  • Our support team may require reasonable time to investigate and respond to complex issues.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Billrest Technologies retains all rights, titles, and interests in the software, trademarks, brand assets, designs, and source code.
  • Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Billrest solely for their internal business operations.
  • Any unauthorized reproduction, resale, or redistribution of Billrest products is strictly prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Billrest Technologies shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the service.
  • This includes loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruptions.
  • Our total liability under any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the user during the last active subscription period.

12. Modifications to Terms or Services

  • Billrest reserves the right to update these Terms at any time to reflect legal, operational, or product-related changes.
  • Users will be notified of major updates via website or communication channels.
  • Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Suspension & Termination

Billrest may suspend or terminate access if:

  • The user violates these Terms or any applicable law.
  • False information or fraudulent activity is detected.
  • Payment disputes or chargebacks occur.
  • The user misuses the platform or harms Billrest’s reputation.

Upon termination, access to data and features will be revoked.

14. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us.
Use of Billrest is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal and business data.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Rampur, Uttar Pradesh.
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms will be subject to these courts only.
